Mid West DX Club
We wanted to keep Bill’s memory alive. Bill always had time. If anyone ever called and needed help, he would drop whatever he was doing and help. He took the time to mentor others. He would help explain, tell stories and encourage others. Whether it was bird watching, photography or ham radio, he had a passion for life. He wanted to share that and encourage others to do more, be the best they could be and, if you failed, it was ok, keep trying.
His disappointment was that too many people get their license and do not operate. He wanted to encourage people to be involved. Put a special event on the air. A special place. Somewhere that had not been operated from before.
In that spirit, we, the Mid West Dx Club, are here to keep that alive.
